If you don't think they would love to decide what cars you can and cannot buy, conisder that a couple of Senators are saying that the "cash for clunkers" bill encourages the purchase of gas guzzlers like the Hummer H3T. See, it's not about buying a new vehicle that gets better mileage than your old vehicle. It's about buying the "right" vehicle. So why stop with not allowing those purchases.? Why not go all the way and only allow purchases of vehicles that get 40 MPG or more? I'm all for encouraging higher mileage cars being on the road, but once Big Stupid Brother gets their hand in the pie, things get silly. Read more at foxnews.com
