Apr 16, 2009 - Beltway!

I'm taking the Alternate Route on the road for the next couple of days as we head down to Richmond, VA for an AAU basketball tournament. That means a short excursion on the Capital Beltway around D.C. sometime around 6PM.

I've been on the Beltway in heavy traffic at 4 AM so I'm mentally prepared, but every Beltway run always turns up at least one incident that would be blog worthy so coming up with material for the weekend entries should be a snap.

So if any of you CarSpace members in VA happen to see a sapphire blue Nissan Versa with PA plates tooling around, give us a toot and a wave!

We STILL feel your pain Bob! We lost about a half hour fighting Beltway traffic where 270 comes to a stop as it meets 495, but other than that, it was normal heavy trafic for the DC area

The Capital Beltway, on the American Legion Bridge heading from VA to MD, is where my (first) WRX was totaled last September thanks to a guy in a Volvo. :(
