Oct 23, 2008 - Have I Got A Deal For You!

As the saying goes, there's one born every minute and the clock apparently never stops.

Gas saving scams always have been, and always will be with us. And it just amazing how many people fall hook, line, and sinker for these hair-brained claims.

The current craze seems to be HHO kits and no matter how many times it's not proven to work by anyone, people flock to dubious claims as if they are fact.

Just consider this "proof" offered in an article at GardenIsland.com for the effectiveness of HHO kits:

"...the 1985 van, among the junk cars donated by the community, no longer has a fully functioning odometer, but estimates the increase in fuel efficiency to be roughly 30 percent."

Right. You have no way to actually measure it, but you're going to claim a 30% increase in mileage.

Perhaps it's time to start selling my "secret" to higher mileage. The only thing I can tell you is that it involves jelly donuts, but trust me, I'm getting a 75% mileage boost (your results may vary). And it all can be yours for just $19.95 plus shipping. And if you believe that one, make me an offer on the bridge!

What's scary is the fact that most people hyping these gadgets don't know a spark plug from a fan belt! Their websites have so much nonsensical psuedoscience that it's hard to quit laughing when you read it.

Is that the silver ball thing that mounts inside the car and has water in it? Somehow it cools the mixture by injecting water into the engine boosting gas milage. I saw some one running an ad on the internet for something like this. They wre mounting it in a video. Of course that part is a secret but how to sell it to the masses hes still tring to figure out. Someday hell have it stocked next to the high flow mufflers, synthetic oils, low resistance tires, injector cleaners...if he can firgure that part out.

I'll give you $19.99, plus shipping and handling if you throw in the car.
