There's still a long way to go in the recovery of the North American auto market, but there are honest-to-goodness bright spots now.
Overall auto sales in Canada fell by 13.2 percent in June. It was the eighth month in a row of year-over-year sales declines.
But in the midst of that, Ford sales in Canada increased by 25% over a year earlier, making Ford the number one selling automaker in Canada for the first time in 50 years.
