The founding members of San Carlos, Calif., car company Tesla Motors plan to retail their cars through factory-owned stores much in the style of Apple Inc.
One of the planned stores will be just around a couple of corners from the Edmunds offices on Santa Monica Boulevard, right next to a Starbucks.
If it's going to be like an Apple store, they're started in the right direction with a high-priced vehicle that will have a small but fanatical following who will no doubt claim that their favorite car is better than other electric vehicles.
I wonder if the store will have a genius bar?
