CarSpace The Car ConsultantFor experienced information on how to pick, buy and save on a vehicle. Oct 20, 2008 - GMAC Gets TightGMAC has announced that it will be only financing people with 700 credit scores . This I guess is due to the increasing number of people defaulting on their loans. What some of you may ask is;what does this have to do with me. Gmac is the finance company of GM and if the in house finace is getting that strict then you know that the housing market finance crisis has made its way down to the automotive industry. Now another thing that I found interesting is that GMAC said that 70% of the U.S. puiblic has 700 or better credit. Is thus old info before the crisis or are they just wrong. Feed back people!
Oct 15, 2008 - There's a 2 on that sign!!!Finally hitting the two's, Well people it took some time but we finally got the gas price down below $3.00. That is where it should have been in the first place. There is no excuse for it plain and simple. We are being price gouged by the oil companies before ol' G.W. gets out. Why did he recently purchase land in Venezuala, where the U.S. has no extradition agreement. Sounds like an exit plan to me. Done so that when he is investigated, and he will be, he will be bunkered up on a fine estate in Venezuela sipping on Russian Vodka and playing chess with Bin-Laden who has been waiting for him and they will both be laughing and yelling at the top of their lungs in a maniacal voice" We fooled them all!"
Oct 6, 2008 - Looking for a gas saver &/or an eco-saver!!!Hello fellow drivers,
Ethanol is less of a polluter than gas. BUT it is 20%$ less powerful thus a car with 21 mpg will become 16 mpg. Ethanol also costs more than gas . I repeat "ETHANOL COSTS MORE THAN GAS." It is only widely available in the midwest. It is made from feed grains that could be absorbing CO2 but instead are dug up by desiel machinery that further pollute the enviroment. Hydrogen is extremely clean. In a fuel cell its only by product is heat and water. BUT It is an expensive process using mostly fossil fuels to produce it, but using water as a more of the main source is in the works. Electricity is very quiet, has an immediate full torque and no significant emissions.BUT the batteries have a relatively short trip capacity and recharging takes hours, batteries have a short life span and are expensive. And are expensive to buy and to maintain. Hybrids. Now we come to the only option that I see as reasonable at this time. Hybrids Offer you ultra low fuel consumption and prolongs the life of the electric power cell. So what are your concerns about this? I and the other bloggers here will be glad to help you.
