How do you know when gas prices are low? Because jerks start driving their Hummers again! Alternative answer, people start speeding again. I've seen 15 in the last two days. Compare that to 6-8 in the time of $4 gasoline. I know people have the right to drive whatever they want, but man DID THE HUMMERS HAVE TO COME BACK TOO!!?? Also, anyone notice an increase of Maniacs on the road? I did and i did miss them, but THEY GOTS TO GO! Also, there has been a tremendous increase in the number of traffic on the roads of Miami. I was stuck in traffic yesterday at 11:00AM. That lasted until about 2:30. Thank goodness school is out because it woud be sooo much worse with the Canairy Yellow 42passenger Hummers aka School busses taking up the road again. Maybe I have been reading too much of the Green Car advisor blog or something but even with my local $1.63 gasoline, I am still considering buying A Vw TDI diesel. Maybe even a Turbo Beetle since premium is low. The high gas prices taught me a lesson and it will be a long time before I even look at a huge gas guzzling SUV the same way again. I still have issues looking at my dad's Expedition in a positive light.
Jan 11, 2008 - Men VS Women DrivingBefore i post, I don't mean to offend anyone and that this is purely stereotype! We've heard it all before, women do a million things while driving and men just drive crazy. The following video gives examples of the most common types of driving! Ok, I admit, i've never left half dressed, but I have put on shoes while reversing once or twice, but I always watch my mirrors. Then theres also dumb things males do... And dumb things females do... ps: #1 had helmet on backwards/upsidedown What have we learned today? Maybe if we paid more attention to our driving habbits, there would be less accidents happening! And I promise dress fully before departing!. What did you learn?

Jan 7, 2008 - Menu Never ChangesWhy do drive through lines take so long! No matter where you are, its long. The bank, your favorite fast food place, or even a pharmacy. I was obliviousto it until my mother pointed i;t out to me a few days back. Imagine: We in a silver Z4 pull up to a local Burger King behind a Navigator. We look at the preview menu long enough to figure out our meal. Mind you, there is no one else in front of the Navigator. We wait from 7:13pm to 7:20pm for just one person. Now my mom being a mother of 3 boys is quite patient... Until it comes to food. She yells aloud "OMFG will you friggen hurry it up! Its been 30years since I've been eating BK and I swear to you the menu has barely ever changed!" As stereotyped bmw drivers are always in a hurry, she, like most of them, honks the horn! BMW makes great horns BTW. Compared to her miatas "Please Excuse Me, but can you please think about moving soon!" type horn, this Z4 is the real deal! The Navigator suprisingly moves up to the next window, pays, pulls forward again picks up food and leaves before we finish orfering. This type of situation is quite common in southern Florida. But that outcome was quite unexpcted! Shocked and expecting a finger or horn honk or even a rev of the Navigators thirstly 5.4l v8, my mom pulls up to the pay window and lets the top down because we were to low to hand the money over to the pay window! Total time spent Idling: 9 Minutes. Time we spent from ordering to leaving: 2.5minutes! This situation reminds us of that VW passat wagon commercial! The one with the megaphones! I kinda of felt like the guy in the Navigator was the "BECAUSE I MAKE MORE MONEY THAN YOU" guy because the driver was deliberately slow taking no time at all at the register! But sadly, in miami, you grow to expect violence...
Jan 6, 2008 - Winter Tire pressureMiami never really gets cold, but it can. A few days ago, we had some record breaking lows of about 37degrees. 2days later, its currently 76degrees. Just because school starts tomorrow doesn't mean I used the kicking tires approach(although a good idea...)
As you can see, I have an older pump(well its actually my dads...) and I plan on purchasing a new one for myself! Any suggestions or reccomendations? When this one (often) dies, i use the one at the local Shell station and pay $.75 and fill all my tires and most of someone elses... I hate that piggy back feeling... Oh I like lightweight, small, and portable!
