Dec 23, 2008 - Low Gas Prices

Simple Joke:

How do you know when gas prices are low? Because jerks start driving their Hummers again!  Alternative answer, people start speeding again.

I've seen 15 in the last two days. Compare that to 6-8 in the time of $4 gasoline.  I know people have the right to drive whatever they want, but man DID THE HUMMERS HAVE TO COME BACK TOO!!??

Also, anyone notice an increase of Maniacs on the road? I did and i did miss them, but THEY GOTS TO GO! Also, there has been a tremendous increase in the number of traffic on the roads of Miami. I was stuck in traffic yesterday at 11:00AM. That lasted until about 2:30.  Thank goodness school is out because it woud be sooo much worse with the Canairy Yellow 42passenger Hummers aka School busses taking up the road again.

Maybe I have been reading too much of the Green Car advisor blog or something but even with my local $1.63 gasoline, I am still considering buying A Vw TDI diesel. Maybe even a Turbo Beetle since premium is low. The high gas prices taught me a lesson and it will be a long time before I even look at a huge gas guzzling SUV the same way again. I still have issues looking at my dad's Expedition in a positive light.
