Dec 18, 2007 - Lexus LF-A Set a Nürburgring Record???

So far this is strictly a rumor which originated from the Japanese magazine Holiday Auto <motormagazine.co.jp/2007/12/20081_4.html#more>. If that is to be believed, the Lexus LF-A has put in a dominant performance on Nürburgring, lapping the track in 7:24. If true, it would make the LF-A the fastest production car to run the ring.
 
Personally I wouldn't be surprised if this is true but I'll reserve my judgment until it has been confirmed. I will post the follow-ups for this topic once there are new developments.
