You might not think that Greek mythology is relevant in this day and age, but don't be so hasty. Consider the legend of Sisyphus. For being a devious sort, Sisyphus was cursed by the gods and compelled to roll a large boulder up a hill. Every time he got the boulder almost to the top, he'd lose control and the boulder would roll back down the hill where he would start pushing all over again...

One of Toyota's advertising slogans has been: I love what you do for me - Toyota! Maybe just not as much anymore. Toyota slid from first place to fifth place in the 2007 Consumer Reports rankings which were just released, and Honda moved into the top spot...

Brain Boofers

We all have them. The brain goes into free-wheeling mode and a string of strange syllables flows forth. Miss South Carolina doesn't have an exclusive, although she may be in the lead - even though it is true that "...some people out there in our nation don't have maps..." These boofers are not restricted to verbal communication only, the path that leads to befuddlement can even run through a computer keyboard...
Thank God it's Friday! We can relax and have a little fun. One of the tasks I perform for Edmunds on a weekly basis is to edit Consumer Ratings & Reviews that are submitted by owners who want to sing praises to their car or warn others about their ownership experience...
