I'm not sure if I'm steady or just plain stubborn, but we haven't had a vehicle with anything but manual transmission vehicles in our household since 1979. That works out to nine vehicles with a combined total of just over 1.5 million miles traveled, and at the moment I have no intention of going back any time soon. My wife feels that she's "more in control" of the vehicle, especially during the winter months in snowy or icy conditions, and I can't disagree with her on that...
