Be sure to check out the feature article on Inside Line by Carlos Ghosn of Renault-Nissan, Electric Cars Now, Not Tomorrow

The Tokyo Auto Show is this month and auto shows mean concepts, which are one of the things I love about the shows.
This 122 inch long, 43 inch wide two-seater is the Nissan Land Glider concept. You ride tandem-style in this electric vehicle and the body and tires lean up to 17 degrees into turns like a motorcycle...

Electric cars may eventually be the future, but from where I sit, that future is certainly not now.
Battery limitations seem to be the biggest hurdle, although pricing is starting to look like an issue as well. The Volt is supposed to be about $40K, which is pretty pricey...

From the Washington Post:
After years of trying to make cars sound as if they were riding on air, engineers are considering how they might bring back some noise. They're trying to make some of them -- those silent hybrids -- more audible.
But how?..

Eagerly awaited - the new 2009 Nissan Cube arrived at both of our Cincinnati Nissan dealers yesterday and the anticipation was worth the wait. If you appreciate bold design and innovation, then you will agree with our review and rating of the new Cube as an "A". With so many plain designs on the market today, it is refreshing to see Nissan design a new car that allows Cincinnati drivers to drive a 2009 Cube that is uniquely their own...

With a smooth, powerful V6 engine, the new 2009 Nissan Murano Cincinnati is a great crossover which is perfect for city driving. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) provides more useable power, better fuel economy, and a smoother driving experience. If you have been car-shopping lately, you will find that the 2009 Nissan Murano is one of many vehicles that use CVT, and it does take a bit of adjustment to get used to it - but in a good way...

Nissan's new all-electric car to be sold starting late next year will have 100 miles of pure battery range, a Nissan North America planning director said.
The thing that bothers me the most about electric vehicles is that proponents of EV's never seem to talk about about where the electricity to charge the cars is going to come from or how much it's going to cost.
How much is adding the load of charging vehicles to the grid going to affect pricing of electricity?..
The new 2009 Nissan Altima Cincinnati is a quiet, fuel-efficient sedan that provides great value for the dollar. This proven performer from Nissan is available with 2 different engines, either a 4 cylinder or a 6 cylinder. Consumer Reports gave exceptional ratings to the 3.5 Liter 6 cylinder Altima SE with manual transmission, with above average acceleration and responsive handling...
The 2009 Nissan Xterra Cincinnati is a mid-sized SUV designed for active drivers who love the outdoors! Powered by a 4.0 Liter, 265 HP V-6, I found the Xterra to have plenty of power when I drove it for 2-3 months as a demo. If I were to describe it in 2 words, it would be rugged and reliable...
