We converted a 1998 Taurus to Flex Fuel in my Engine Perfomance III class. The video begins when we already attached the Fuel Flex International harness to the rear 3 injector connectors. Because this is a V6 we had to remove the upper intake plenum to gain access to the injectors...
The Taurus is now Corn Fed!

Engine Performance III went really well last night. My business partner showed up a little late (bout an hour), but that allowed my students and I to review some key items I wanted to cover before she got there. We researched the fuel system specs for the 98 Taurus and I also reviewed the fuel system troubleshooting logic in the shop manual...

So, I am getting closer to converting the 1998 Taurus my business partner drives. I've had the kit since before Christmas, but logistics was an issue. It's too cold to do outside, so we'll do it in class tonight...

It's that week again. That week in January where I plop myself down in front of the tube with an A-Treat soda in one hand, pretzel sticks in the other, and both eyes glued to the Speed Channel for another 40 hours of auction coverage...the Barrett-Jackson auction from Scottsdale.
Back in 1990, FNN (the Financial News Network...now CNBC) covered this auction for one Sunday afternoon and it was wonderful...
