After announcing GM and Chrysler's last, last chances, the market reacted quickly and ran away from auto stocks that first day.
But in the days since, Toyota and Ford - which is not taking government money - have continued to rebound. We'll see how things go as we approach the end of the month and the deadline for Chrysler.

Have you wondered how hybrid vehicle sales are doing during these interesting days?
John O'Dell has taken a look at those numbers on Green Car Advisor and at first blush it appears that hybrid sales have fallen off more than the average.
It's no secret, hybrids haven't been doing well lately, on dealers' lots, in the media, or in a lot of political arguments...
Sometimes given the size of the object involved, changing directions requires a wide, slow turn to change direction.
The auto industry certainly qualifies as "large" and won't turn around on a dime, but there are signs that a change of course is taking place.
Auto sales fell by 37% in March, but that's an improvement from the month before and some are looking at it as a sign that things may be bouncing around the bottom...
