As reported in Green Car Advisor, Honda has hinted at a hybrid sports car, and said it will show a nearly production-ready model of its FCX fuel-cell electric car concept at the Los Angeles auto show next month.
Currently Honda sells fewer than 100,000 hybrid vehicles per year, but expects that number to increase to over 450,000 due to the hybrid sports model and a new 5-seat gas-electric hybrid due in 2009.
Honda has said it expects to sell at least 200,000 units globally of the new, as yet unnamed five-seat hybrid, with the Civic hybrid and the new sports car model contributing the rest...
For some it was better than New Year's Eve, "Happy New Year" proclaimed thegraduate, an active member in the Forums announcing that Honda and the various sites including Inside Line had released their coverage of the new 2008 Honda Accord coupe and sedan.

The September issue of Car and Driver arrived the other day and one particular road test gave me a flashback.
I’ve been working in and around the automotive industry for a number of years and it always amazes me that there is such a wide variety of abilities in the people who are supposed to be the face to the public and the media. There are people who you will go out of your way to see at every event and there are people you will avoid as if your life (and more importantly, your sanity) depended on it...
