Dear Dub,
With all you do, do you have time to follow sports? Who do you like in the big game?

Oh yea Steely...
Dear Dub,
I don't understand your resistance to the idea that HHO kits DO work. I know it because I've done it. Maybe I just don't let my education, or lack of it get in the way. Maybe I am right...

Dear Dub,
Man, I can't wait for Spring to get here so I don't have to worry about SUVs and pickups thinking they're invulnerable and sliding all over the roads. But most of all, I'm tired of having to warm up my car for 20 minutes so it's comfortable to drive and the windows are clear. My wife says I only really need to let the car run for a minute or two, but she doesn't know anything about cars, so she must be wrong, right?..

Dear Dub,
You probably have the automotive education to counter every argument I can come up with as to why HHO kits work, so I can only ask how you could be convinced. How do you know unless you try? I have heard that most people who think outside the box are a bit nuts...
Dear Dub,
2008 was certainly an interesting year to say the least. What kind of stuff do you think we'll see in 2009?

Dear Dub,
With 2008 coming to a close, are you looking forward to anything special for the New Year?

Well auld boy, I try to take it as it comes...
Dear Dub,
What is it with 4x4 drivers and the first couple of snows of the season? They drive me crazy blasting all over the place like it's a normal sunny day with no regard for those of us who are trying to drive safely in bad conditions! It makes me so mad I could scream!!..
So we had just finished replacing a bent control arm, bent wheel, doing an alignment, and other assorted items on a customer's car after she had run into a curb in one of the early season snows when the phone rings.
It was some guy named Ernie asking how much the repair cost. When I told him about $500 he asked if he could pay the bill over the phone, so I took his credit card number and rang him up...
Dear Dub,
What do you make of this mess that Detroit finds themselves in? Has it affected your shop?

Time again to serve up the turkey of the year! There were many candidates for Grandma Schwatrz to choose from for her dinner platter, but she decided to go no-frills and serve a turkey with almost no trimmings this year.
As much as some people are passionate about the smart, even some of them see the drawbacks:
As much as I love the Smart and probably will get one, the idea of a 3 person version of a similar car is the only real factor that's holding things up.
- If Smart had a flatter rear floor (perfectly flat) and a bit of work, it might be possible for them to fit a third person in the rear sideways behind the passenger (6 inch thinner dash and everything moved up 6-8 inches for the passenger might be enough space)
So other than a total redesign, you're ready to buy one? And I'm sure that third person in the car will be very comfortable shoe-horned in sideways with nothing but a bit of glass and sheet metal between him and the front end of pretty much any vehicle that might rear end you...
