Dear Dub,
I have a problem with my classic car eating tires. It's not a "restoration" so we don't have to worry about finding parts as I've installed all new modern suspension parts and some great looking wheels. I've had it on the alignment machine and it's right on manufacturer specs for the car and it still chews up tires...
Scenes from the Curb: Are You Smarter Than This Raiders Fan?

Occasionally on Adam Carolla's radio show they'll do a bit called "Are you smarter than a Raiders fan?" where they ask trivia questions to Raiders fans and callers guess if the fan got it right. They usually don't. With apologies to Edmunds editorial top dog Kevin Smith, Raiders fans are a special breed, and by special I mean often times scary and borderline retarded...
Ford Motor Co. builds the most reliable American-brand cars and trucks. So said Consumer Reports, in its respected Annual Car Reliability Survey...
2009 Acura TL: The Eiffel Tower of Cars?

OK, so it's ugly. Or rather, visually challenging. But they said that about the Eiffel Tower too, and look how that turned out...
As the saying goes, there's one born every minute and the clock apparently never stops.
Gas saving scams always have been, and always will be with us. And it just amazing how many people fall hook, line, and sinker for these hair-brained claims...

Back on October 13th, I parked the car for the night and noticed the "SECURITY" light below the tachometer (the gauge that measures engine speed) kept flickering at an unusual rate after the key had been removed. I also noticed the car's blinkers and sidemarkers didn't flash when I armed and disarmed the security system.
That was weird. The car had never done this before. Slight concern crept in as I wondered if the oddity would drain the vehicle's battery. My fear was mitigated when the car started up fine the next morning and later that evening after work.
After purchasing the Top Gun Blu-ray and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Ferrari Challenge for the PLAYSTATION3 at Best Buy, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to figure out what was going. It was time to read the fantastic manual (RTFM)...
GM has a plan to merge with Chrysler and slash costs but initial attempts to secure financing for the controversial merger have been rebuffed, raising new doubts about whether it can be completed without government aid.
Chrysler has $9 billion in debt that, under a change of control, would have to be paid off if it cannot be refinanced.
At some point, you have to pay off your debts and not come begging to me to bail you out with my money...
Countdown to Bond: Die Another Shi**y-A** Day

The above title is how I've referred to "Die Another Day" since it arrived in 2002. I walked out of the theatre thinking I was just slapped in the face. "I waited three years for this?"
If you've been paying attention to these Bond blogs (who am I kidding, of course you have), you may have noticed I prefer the movies that stick closer to the novels' more serious tone...

Don't you hate it when a big rig parks in between you, the car and the sun just as you're about to wrap up a photo shoot? Just as the sun is about to set behind the downtown skyscrapers? Yeah, I do too...
