"If Saudi Arabia were to increase its production by 1 million barrels per day that translates to a reduction of 20 percent to 25 percent in the world price of crude oil, and crude oil prices could fall by more than $25 dollar per barrel from its current level of $126 per barrel...

Since then, he has often reminded voters of that speech and called the car he learned to drive in, a Ford Grenada, a "tin can" and one of the worst cars made by the Detroit Three. It feels like we have 24/7 coverage of gas prices from the media telling us every day how bad things are. Then there's the never ending drumbeat of how bad the economy is. So unless you live in a cave, you're aware of these things...

Green is in. And if you ask any questions you're branded as someone who hates the planet, loves the oil companies, and generally are not a nice guy. Never mind that a hybrid vehicle actually costs more to own over the typical amount of time I'd own a car even taking the fuel savings into account...
