Great Grandma Rooney Jay was the first woman in town to own her own car, a Model T, of course.

Some relatives who will go un-named were in the moonshine business, so they learned how to make cars go fast. Daddy and Unc were two of the best.

When I was born, Daddy had a '57 Ford. My favorite cars that my Pops owned include: 1964 Ford Thunderbird -- 1967 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight -- 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible (Red, Mama hated it.) -- 1975 Mercury Cougar (The Big Cat)

My cars, in order:

1965 Ford Mustang, Carolina Blue - Daddy's money.

1967 Pontiac Lemans, Green - Daddy's money.

1973 Ford Gran Torino, Red - Daddy's money. After the wreck.

1982 Olds Cierra, Silver - My money.

1988 Toyota Camry, Red - My money.

1995 Toyota Camry, Red - My money.

1998 VW Passat V6, White -- Our money, before the ceremony.

1999 Volvo S80 T6, Silver - Our money.

2004 Lexus RX330, Bamboo Pearl -- Our money. Current.

2005 Honda Accord Hybrid, Gold. -- Our money. Traded for the Bimmer.

2008 BMW 535i, Platinum Bronze -- Our money. Current.
