Jan 26, 2009 - Sneak Peak: 2011 Chrysler MiTo and 2011 Dodge Grizzly

Here's an exclusive sneak peak at the Chrysler version of the Alfa Romeo MiTo, which was hinted today over at Straightline. My top-secret source (let's call him Luigi Iacocca) says the Chrysler edition's name hasn't been finalized. Omni and Neon have been ruled out due to potential national PTASD relapse (Post-Traumatic Automotive Stress Disorder). Actually, I don't think the Chrysler badge looks that bad in the classic Alfa grille. Could you imagine a world where Chryslers looked like Alfas rather than the Sebring? Their dealers could only hope.

And then there's the 2011 Dodge Grizzly, based on the Fiat Panda. Looks awesome, don't it? Seriously, though, how much you want to bet the actual Dodge version of the Panda looks exactly like this Photoshop job I did in 3 minutes?

At one time, the 90's, Chrysler was leading the domestics, almost everyone, in the style department. The LH cars were rather forward in their design and the redesign of those cars was pretty good too. In the end, the Chrysler quality demons plagued all these cars and people ran from the Pentastar. Your Photoshop rendering of the Grizzly looks like the bastard child of a Kia Rondo and Dodge Caliber. It's sad that if it lives, it WILL look something like that!!
