When it comes to transmission problems, you do not want to delay in having it looked at immediately, as small problems can turn into expensive repairs quickly if not fixed. Here are some common indicators of transmission problems to look out for: Unsmooth shifting: Is your transmission slipping? Does it make a "racing" sound between gear changes? Does it shift hard? These are all signs that you need to have your transmission inspected by a trained professional. Red fluid: Do you see a puddle of red fluid under your car, or dripping fluid? Jul 17, 2009 - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox Cincinnati Dayton ReviewIt's here! We have the new 2010 Chevrolet Equinox at our Cincinnati and Dayton Chevy dealerships. I have to say I am impressed. While GM is faulted for being slow in bringing new designs and improvements to market, they do a very good job in what they deliver. We took a test drive and completed a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox Cincinnati review and I was most impressed with the 25% improvement in fuel economy. The Equinox's 4 cylinder Ecotec engine now has direct injection technology and delivers 182 horsepower (ok - for us old guys - it is amazing how much horsepower they pull out of these 4 cylinder engines these days...). GM estimates fuel economy at 21 city and 30 mpg highway. Our customers can drive the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox around Cincinnati, Dayton, and all of Ohio with minimal visits to the gas station. Our first Equinox crossover vehicles do not have the optional remote starting system, but we are looking forward to having it soon. This starting system will allow you to start your Chevy Equinox which will also automatically activate your climate system (as well as your optional heated seats) depending on the outside temperature. Very nice! The interior was redesigned and designed (inspired by the Chevrolet Malibu). A dual cockpit layout features OnStar assistance, XM satellite radio, and blue hued ambient lighting. Options include Bluetooth, USB Audio input jack, a hard drive radio, and a rear seat DVD entertainment system with headrest mounted screens. Between the hard drive radio and aux audio jack, is there a need for multiple CD stereos anymore? This is a great crossover and a big improvement over previous year models - nice job GM! Jun 25, 2009 - Obama Signs CARS BillAfter months of legislative efforts, the Cash for Clunkers bill, later renamed the CARS bill (Car Allowance Rebate System), was signed by President Obama on June 24th, and is now official. At this point the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has 30 days to register participating dealers and put the program fully into place. Best estimates are that the Car Allowance Rebate System program will be in operation by late July. Jeff Wyler is a participating Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana CARS dealer. We have been aggressively following the bill (from Cash to Clunkers to its current name...) and have created information pages for each of our new car brands where you can learn about the program, see what new vehicles we have that qualify, as well as contact information to communicate with one of our trained specialists who can assist you in learning if you qualify for the CARS program.
