CarSpace Jeff Wyler Edmunds BlogSharing news and announcements from the Jeff Wyler Auto Family, as well as useful information for all car enthusiasts! Sep 4, 2009 - 2010 Chevrolet Malibu at Cincinnati Dayton DealersIt's here, the new 2010 Chevrolet Malibu Dayton is at your Cincinnati and Dayton Chevy dealers! Did you know that US News and World report has ranked the Malibu as the 2nd most affordable midsized car? Last I heard, Honda and Toyota are supposed to dominate this class, but GM has designed and produced a worthy competitor that is not only affordable, but is also fuel efficient and stylish to boot. Last year the Chevrolet Malibu won multiple awards, with many coming because of the dual cockpit interior that some compared to the early 60s Corvette. I thought Cincinnati, Dayton, and Springfield OH Chevrolet Malibu drivers were supposed to get a car at this price that nobody would look at. Wrong! The Malibu has a stylish interior that is comfortable, functional, and makes driving around Ohio a pleasure. Check out the trim on the interior in our 2010 Chevrolet Malibu video review. For drivers that value safety, the traction control feature is a must, especially when driving in the infamous Cincinnati and Dayton snowy and icy wintry roads. Traction control works to keep your car driving straight and in control when slick conditions want it to do otherwise. The large trunk can also be made larger by folding down the rear seats. Very useful when you have a longer item that is hard to transport. It is the little things that count, and GM did a nice job here. Watching your money? We all are, and Dayton and Cincy commuters can save on gas with the Malibu. How about 22 City and 30 Highway? That means less trips to the gas station, and your bank... Come test drive the 2010 Chevrolet Malibu Cincinnati or 2010 Chevrolet Malibu Dayton and see for yourself - affordable, fuel efficient, and stylish!
Jul 17, 2009 - 2010 Chevrolet Equinox Cincinnati Dayton ReviewIt's here! We have the new 2010 Chevrolet Equinox at our Cincinnati and Dayton Chevy dealerships. I have to say I am impressed. While GM is faulted for being slow in bringing new designs and improvements to market, they do a very good job in what they deliver. We took a test drive and completed a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox Cincinnati review and I was most impressed with the 25% improvement in fuel economy. The Equinox's 4 cylinder Ecotec engine now has direct injection technology and delivers 182 horsepower (ok - for us old guys - it is amazing how much horsepower they pull out of these 4 cylinder engines these days...). GM estimates fuel economy at 21 city and 30 mpg highway. Our customers can drive the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox around Cincinnati, Dayton, and all of Ohio with minimal visits to the gas station. Our first Equinox crossover vehicles do not have the optional remote starting system, but we are looking forward to having it soon. This starting system will allow you to start your Chevy Equinox which will also automatically activate your climate system (as well as your optional heated seats) depending on the outside temperature. Very nice! The interior was redesigned and designed (inspired by the Chevrolet Malibu). A dual cockpit layout features OnStar assistance, XM satellite radio, and blue hued ambient lighting. Options include Bluetooth, USB Audio input jack, a hard drive radio, and a rear seat DVD entertainment system with headrest mounted screens. Between the hard drive radio and aux audio jack, is there a need for multiple CD stereos anymore? This is a great crossover and a big improvement over previous year models - nice job GM! Come test drive one of our 2010 Chevrolet Equinox Dayton units today!

Mar 20, 2009 - New 2009 Chevrolet Corvette at Cincinnati & Dayton Chevy dealers!WIth modern jet fighter technology, the new 2009 Chevrolet Corvette Cincinnati continues the legacy of America's premiere sportscar since the 1950's! When you climb in the 2009 Chevy Corvette, you feel like you are climbing into a high performance cockpit, with the seats featuring side bolsters to keep you in place during cornering and rapid turns while driving. A Corvette heads-up display is available in most models, which gives you a similar experience to flying a modern jet fighter, and keeping your eyes on the road rather than on the dash - which means a safer driving experience. If you want maximum power, the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 performance model features 638 horsepower with a 6.2 liter V8 and 470 lbs ft of torque - can we say "burning rubber???"... The audio system features studio quality sound - would you expect anything less from Corvette? We have several new 2009 Chevrolet Corvettes in stock at our Cincinnati Chevrolet dealership and Dayton Chevrolet dealership. Make sure to take some time to review Cincinnati Chevrolet dealer ratings or Dayton Chevrolet dealer ratings first to see what consumers have to say about your local Chevy dealers - and then take a look at the 2009 Chevrolet Corvette video we made for you, featuring several different models. Mar 16, 2009 - 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt at Cincinnati Chevy dealersRanked as one of the most affordable small cars by US News & World Report, the 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt Cincinnati offers great fuel economy with an even better price! Cincinnati Chevrolet Dealers Jeff Wyler Eastgate Chevrolet has a large inventory of new 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt cars in multiple colors and trim levels (8 trim levels to be exact!) for your consideration. With last year's high gas prices, the Cobalt surged in popularity, with rates as high as 37 mpg Highway for the LS and LT XFE models. The base powerplant 2.2 liter 4 cylinder engine now has 155 HP (7 hp more than the 2008 model), and the 2.0 liter turbocharged in-line 4 cylinder engine provides 260 hp (that's impressive!!). I am impressed with the amount of horsepower that these small engine can put out, which is a direct result of utilizing advances in technology, lighter engine construction, and electronic fuel injection to get the most power out of an engine. Come to our Cincinnati Chevrolet dealership at Jeff Wyler Eastgate or our Dayton Chevrolet dealership at Jeff Wyler Springfield to test drive your new 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt today! And - as always - don't forget to check your Cincinnati Chevrolet dealer reviews first to see what consumers like you have to say about their local Chevrolet dealerships!
Mar 4, 2009 - New 2009 Chevrolet Colorado at Cincinnati Chevrolet DealersThe mid-sized truck category has taken new life as many folks are looking for the utility of a truck without having to fill the gas tank for a large pick-up. The new 2009 Chevrolet Colorado Cincinnati meets those needs - and more! I have driven 2 Colorado's as my demo vehicle, and was quite pleased with each one. The quad-cab model I had was comfortable for my family and I, while the bed was plenty-big to carry mulch, firewood, or whatever else I needed to pick up. Like the Silverado, the 2009 Chevrolet Colorado has lots of options to satisfy every truck driver. When it comes to engines, you can get a 5.3 Liter V8 on the extended cab or quad cab models - which is strong enough to tow up to 6000 lbs. If you are looking for a more "gas-friendly" engine, you can also get a 2.9 Liter 4 cylinder that gets 18 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. Of note, and this should be important for ALL truck drivers, Stabilitrak is now standard with the new 2009 Chevy Colorado, which is a tremendous safety feature (this is GM's name for electronic stability control). This makes such a difference in handling a vehicle under emergency conditions that I am curious if having it reduces your auto insurance. If not, it certainly should! The new 2009 Chevrolet Colorado also comes with a standard bed liner - and of course there are more GM parts and accessories available to "trick" your new truck out if you would like at our Cincinnati Chevrolet dealership or our Dayton Chevrolet dealership.
Feb 26, 2009 - New 2009 Chevrolet Silverado CincinnatiRanked #1 of 6 full size pickups, the new 2009 Chevrolet Silverado Cincinnati is a time-proven truck that is durable and has a loyal following. GM knows that truck drivers like lots of options, and the Silverado is highly customizable, with a package for the needs of any truck driver. Rugged, capable, and comfortable, the Silverado was also voted US News' "best car for the money". Jeff Wyler carries lots of Silverados in inventory (with 2 Chevy stores) and specializes in meeting the needs of our truck-driving customers. Of note, with last year's lagging sales in the larger size pickup category, Chevy has offered lots of GM incentives and rebates to move the new 2009 Silverado trucks at a very good price. Come in and browse our large inventory of new 2009 Silverado trucks at our Cincinnati Chevy dealership, or our greater Dayton Chevrolet dealership, and we will help you to find the new Silverado that meets your needs!
Feb 24, 2009 - New 2009 Chevrolet Malibu CincinnatiCompletely redesigned in 2008, the 2009 Chevrolet Malibu Cincinnati looks great, drives well, and offers solid fuel economy for the sedan driver. I think GM "got it right" with the re-design last year, and maybe this is because German designers lead the charge behind creating the new Malibu. The most important addition (in my humble opinion) to the 2009 Chevy Malibu is electronic stability control. Smart buyers are shopping new vehicles with this option specifically in mind. Why? Electronic Stability Control (or as GM calls it - StabiliTrak) significantly improves vehicle handling safety by applying individual brakes to "steer" the car when the system detects loss of steering control. During a recent snow, I was on an incline and let my car slowly slide back. It was pretty impressive to see how the electronic stability control worked to keep the car straight. The new 2009 Chevrolet Malibu is not only safe, but it provides great value for the dollar, has German influenced quality and style, and does not have to visit the gas station as often.
Feb 20, 2009 - New 2010 Chevrolet Camaro CincinnatiLooking to order your new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Cincinnati? Our Cincinnati and Dayton Chevrolet dealers are ready to help you! My first impression of the new 2010 Camaro appearance is - right on! The design merges the modern look of the new Corvette with the classic look of the '69 Camaro, creating a new sports car that brings over the nostalgia of the past with a powerful, menacing look that defines "old-school" sports car power. Chevy is providing for either a budget-friendly V6 option, or a powerful V8 option. As of the writing of this blog entry, we have already had ~12 orders for the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro - and none of the buyers has got a V6. Of the V8 buyers, half have ordered the manual transmission model which offers the most power - 422 HP! When I learned that the new Camaros would not come with any wheels larger than 20 inches from the manufacturer, I wondered if Camaro afficionados would be disappointed. I must be wrong, as every one of our buyers has stuck with the standard 19 inch wheels, and none have upgraded to the 20 inch wheels. OK - now to the most common questions we have been receiving... We should have a 2010 Chevy Camaro in our showroom in late March for an open house (call us at 513-752-3447 for more details). The first line of new Camaros will be the coupe model, and the convertible model should be available in late 2009. Please take some time to look at the video below and admire this great sports car for yourself!
