May 15, 2009 - Review of new 2009 Nissan Cube at Cincinnati Nissan DealersEagerly awaited - the new 2009 Nissan Cube arrived at both of our Cincinnati Nissan dealers yesterday and the anticipation was worth the wait. If you appreciate bold design and innovation, then you will agree with our review and rating of the new Cube as an "A". With so many plain designs on the market today, it is refreshing to see Nissan design a new car that allows Cincinnati drivers to drive a 2009 Cube that is uniquely their own. I have to laugh, but there is some truth to Nissan's statement that the exterior design of the 2009 Nissan Cube is supposed to be similar to a "bulldog", and the accompanying picture shows a bulldog with sunglasses next to the new Cube, lol. What happens next is a nice surprise though. You would think that with the box-like shape, the interior would have lots of hard angles and corners. Not the case... When you sit down inside the Nissan Cube, you will find that it is very roomy and comfortable, and that rather than sharp angles, the design theme features waves and gentle curves. The dash and headliner have a wave like curve that is easy on the eyes, and it almost becomes a game of "where's the wave" as you look around... The ceiling features a prominent textured wave, and the speaker covers are wave shaped, and even the small details like the bottom of the cup holders have a wave pattern. Remember all of those fights over who gets the "window seat"? The 2009 Nissan Cube features LOTS of window space, giving your passengers a "looking glass" experience that will allow them to enjoy the Cincinnati landscape! And while you are driving with your friends, why worry about bringing stacks of CDs. The Cube's stereo is iPod ready, where you can just plug in your iPod, have access to your ENTIRE music collection, and you can use the Nissan stereo controls to access your iPod music collection and playlists - now that is NICE! The design team at Nissan was paying attention, and made sure to offer electronic stability control to make the Cube a safe ride (this is a MUST feature to me), and also provided a 4 cylinder engine that provides solid fuel economy that averages 29 mpg for both city and highway. There are several different trim levels, and multiple options that allow you to personalize your new Cube and ensure that you are a proud Cincinnati Nissan Cube driver! Mar 5, 2009 - New 2009 Nissan Murano at Cincinnati Nissan DealersWith a smooth, powerful V6 engine, the new 2009 Nissan Murano Cincinnati is a great crossover which is perfect for city driving. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) provides more useable power, better fuel economy, and a smoother driving experience. If you have been car-shopping lately, you will find that the 2009 Nissan Murano is one of many vehicles that use CVT, and it does take a bit of adjustment to get used to it - but in a good way. Unlike your typical automatic transmission, you will not feel or hear the engine shift, as it is always adjusting the engine speed to provide more RPMs (for acceleration) or less RPMs (for cruising). When folks stomp on the accelerator and hear the engine rev up, it scares them at first, but this is typically normal, as the CVT is increasing the RPMs to provide best acceleration! The new 2009 Nissan Murano gives you a better driving experience combined with solid fuel economy by using the CVT. All-wheel drive is available for folks that desire extra performance during winter storms. The interior of the 2009 Nissan Murano is a bit snug - but that is by intent - this was designed to be a mid-sized crossover, and not a 7 passenger vehicle. Feb 10, 2009 - New 2009 Nissan Altima CincinnatiThe new 2009 Nissan Altima Cincinnati is a quiet, fuel-efficient sedan that provides great value for the dollar. This proven performer from Nissan is available with 2 different engines, either a 4 cylinder or a 6 cylinder. Consumer Reports gave exceptional ratings to the 3.5 Liter 6 cylinder Altima SE with manual transmission, with above average acceleration and responsive handling. Both engines provide solid fuel economy for today's cost-sensitive driver. Some of the "cool" things about the new Altima include push button ignition and a touch screen nav/audio system with rear view camera (additional options). Feb 6, 2009 - New 2009 Nissan Xterra CincinnatiThe 2009 Nissan Xterra Cincinnati is a mid-sized SUV designed for active drivers who love the outdoors! Powered by a 4.0 Liter, 265 HP V-6, I found the Xterra to have plenty of power when I drove it for 2-3 months as a demo. If I were to describe it in 2 words, it would be rugged and reliable. I did not have the opportunity to tow anything with it, but some of the remarks posted on our Youtube video review indicate that it has plenty of power to pull as well. The exterior has the traditional, sporty, durable look that is geared towards active drivers who like the outdoors and driving offroad.
