Aug 3, 2009 - How DARE I forget X-GAMES!?!

Well, I forgot to mention it HERE but, I DID end up going to X-Games 15 Rally.  Did anyone else get to go?  What did you guys think of it?  The Ford Fiesta rally cars are wicked looking (good thing).  It was anti-climactic for me.  Congrats to the Ford team and to Kenny Brack for winning in the Fiesta!  Your medal winners are:

- Kenny Brack: 1st Place - Gold - Ford Fiesta

- Travis Pastrana: 2nd Place - Silver - Subaru WRX STI

- Tanner Foust: 3rd Place - Bronze - Ford Fiesta (4dr Hatch)

Great job, all!  See you next year for X-Games 16!!

-Rex

PS: Did anyone catch the announcer call Tanner, "Kenny Foust"??  I hope he heard me BOO from all the way in the back!  LOL!

    Jul 14, 2009 - Sunday Sunady Sunady!

    Sean here,

Get ready boys and girls it’s the episode of Jesse James Is A Dead Man you all have been waiting for. Yes the one I’m in, like I would watch any other episode? LOL

Jesse James takes on the Sidecar Racers Association - West on the Streets of Willow. I think Rex knows the track… I love the ad “Jesse James and his co-driver race at speeds in excess of 120 MPH” 120? was he stuck in 4th gear? I was mid pack making my way to the front on the back straight above 140 dog fighting with two other bikes. Was Jesse using the cruise controls again? Ha Ha. I think marketing should have got their facts straight, but O-well. The only footage I have seen so far has been their ads for the show and it doesn’t look to bad. I am really digging the commercial for this episode. The very last crash is mine. It’s like .8 of a second where you see two smash into the side of each other. $1,500 worth of body damage, but hey I’m on T.V……..

So set you DVRs, whip out the popcorn and watch Jesse try to out run a mob of lunatics! If nothing else you’ll see why Rex thinks I am absolutely Nuts.

    Jul 10, 2009 - Decisions, decisions...

The last couple of months has been quite an endeavor for me.  It all started on May 7th, at Streets of Willow, with an untimely accident.  The Legacy (see below) which I loved and tuned for the last couple of years had an "off".

    The Legacy

Needless to say, it was one of those heartbreaking occurences.  All that hard work, gone down the drain...

She was an absolute blast and will be sorely missed...

So a new chapter has started...  What car should I get next?  I'll chronicle the painstaking, decision-making process here and what the result was over the next few days, weeks, whatever.  :)
