Apr 1, 2008 - Got my results today!

I spoke with my oncologist this morning. The scans are clear of cancer so that means I'm in remission. However, we are taking this slowly as we discussed a maintenance program consisting of an oral chemo therapy pill (XELODA) which was given to me the first time after my surgery. It's some nasty stuff too. It killed the nerve endings on my hands and feet among other things. So now I'm in a dilemma. Do I start this maintenance program or do I just go on and let nature take it's course? Hmm.

Hello,that is great!! Ask more questions about that maintenance program and the side effects of that pill. I know whatever decision you make will be a good one because you have JC on your side!!!!!!! YOU are in our Prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
