Jan 9, 2008 - It's Electric, Baby

I saw this Miles ZX40S Electric Vehicle on PCH. It is made in Santa Monica. It was pretty cute up there on its flatbed.

Also, don't give me any grief about taking pictures whiles driving in traffic at night. I KNOW! Plus, I clearly wasn't being THAT reckless, or I would have been able to get a better pic.

Nov 29, 2007 - Stealing Your Car's Soul

I was reflecting on the Camera Phone Road Show on the way to work today. (Didn't see anything good.) I was wondering why I like taking pictures of these cars. I am not a great photographer, my phone doesn't take great pictures and it isn't as if I couldn't easily find a hundred better pictures of each of these cars.

I think those native cultures that think you steal their souls when you take their pictures are right. I feel like I capture a little piece of a car's soul when I take its picture. It helps sustain me until I can afford a Bentley Continental GT.

Nov 28, 2007 - The Corral Fire in Malibu

Firefighters were expecting a fire to occur over the Thanksgiving weekend with the Santa Ana winds coming up. In Malibu, they filled the entire fairgrounds with firefighting vehicles. This picture was taken on Monday after Thanksgiving. By then, the Corral Fire, which started on Friday (I think) was already mostly contained.
