Between now and June 2, anyone who buys any new Dodge vehicle will be bale to register for Chrysler's "Let's Refuel America" card. Once you register a credit card with the program, you will receive a new card that you can use at participating gas stations to fuel up your new car or truck. When the card is used, the credit card that the owner has on file will be billed $2.99 a gallon for wither regular gas, E85 or diesel fuel. Chrysler will pay the difference. The best part is the price is locked in for THREE years. Now that's real savings!
It's a nice twist on the usual rebates and 0% interest incentives typically offered to consumers when economic times are tough. What do you think?

Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the muscular Dodge Zeo Concept hybrid has a all-electric, 200kw lithium-ion battery powerplant and can go up to 250 miles before needing to be recharged. It doesn't burn gas but it can burn rubber, going from 0-60 miles per hour in under six seconds. While there are no plans to put the concept into production, the Zeo demonstrates Dodge's commitment to creating bold new vehicles.

Sometime this fall you’ll hear a rumbling sound. Don’t be afraid. It will be the release of the All-New 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. Same breed, but the updates make it feel like a whole new animal.
Ram buyers this fall can choose from four- and five-speed automatic transmissions, as well as part-time and on-demand four-wheel-drive transfer cases. Body styles include regular cab, quad cab and crew cab, with a choice of short, standard and long beds. Five trim levels are offered: ST, SLT, TRX, Sport and Laramie.
The safety hardware is impressive, with standard antilock brakes, electronic stability control and front and rear side-curtain airbags. Also available are adjustable pedals, rear park assist and a rear back-up camera.
We're impressed by such new features as the RamBox cargo management system, which bundles a bed divider/extender and an adjustable bed-rail system with a pair of illuminated storage compartments built into the fenders that are lockable, drainable and weatherproof. The Ram 1500 Crew Cab also can be ordered with new "store in the floor" bins with removable liners.
Dodge has pulled out all the stops in the Ram's cabin, with a staggering array of luxury-car-like options, including heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, surround-sound audio and new Sirius Backseat TV. Add such nice little touches as two-tone upholstery and a soft-touch instrument panel with contrasting stitching, and you begin to wonder why Daimler was so quick to part ways with Chrysler.
What this means to you: With this latest makeover, the Dodge Ram continues to be the most distinctive-looking full-size pickup on the market.

Chrysler put in a lot of time rethinking the layout, functionality, feel and package of the 2009 Dodge Ram. In these photos, you can see where Dodge was trying to conceptualize nifty storage spaces. The forward leaning cross-hair grille and integrated bumper had already taken shape. According to Chrysler design chief Trevor Creed, two vehicles influenced the Ram's exterior, the Dodge Charger sedan and Ford F-150.
There will be inevitable comparisons between the Ford F-150 and 2009 Dodge Ram, but Dodge has closed the gap in many areas and broken new ground in others that the Ram has to be recognized as the more revolutionary of the two trucks.

There is a good reason to pay attention to those "Bridge May Be Icy" signs that are posted at nearly every overpass in the U.S., and the guy in this photo would likely have died for ignoring the warning if it weren't for his Dodge Ram. The Ram's sturdy frame is the only thing standing between this lucky mother trucker and a 70 foot fall to the riverbed below. And the picture is the best argument we've seen to date against unibody pickups that would have slid right over the edge.

Imagine making the purchase of your dreams - a brand new 2008 Dodge Viper with only five miles on the odometer. It's sitting safely in the showroom without a scratch just waiting for you to drive it off the lot. The only thing it needs is a tank of gas, which of course the dealership offers to pay for. Here's where the story goes terribly wrong. An employee of a Southern California Dodge dealership says that the Viper was headed back from the gas station and only about 1/8 of a mile from the dealership (!) when the driver lost control of the 600-horsepower beast and crashed into four parked cars. The result is one severely smashed up snake. Keep an eye on eBay Motors for a low miles, slightly scratched 2008 Dodge Viper with a full tank of gas.
