May 7, 2008 - Chrysler to Guarantee Gas at $2.99 a Gallon! For Three Years!

Between now and June 2, anyone who buys any new Dodge vehicle will be bale to register for Chrysler's "Let's Refuel America" card. Once you register a credit card with the program, you will receive a new card that you can use at participating gas stations to fuel up your new car or truck. When the card is used, the credit card that the owner has on file will be billed $2.99 a gallon for wither regular gas, E85 or diesel fuel. Chrysler will pay the difference. The best part is the price is locked in for THREE years. Now that's real savings!

It's a nice twist on the usual rebates and 0% interest incentives typically offered to consumers when economic times are tough. What do you think?

Contact Reed Brothers Dodge at 1-877-681-5021, or visit our website at www.reedbrothersdodge.com for more details. Reed Brothers Dodge is conveniently located on Route 355 at the Shady Grove Metro at 15955 Frederick Road in Rockville, Maryland 20855.

For example, it is figured on 12,000 miles a year, so if the vehicle averages 20mpg (average of city and highway), you get 600 gallons for the $2.99 a gallon price. You also lose half of any cash rebates according to my local dealer ($2500 on a Grand Caravan becomes $1250, still a larger rebate than the $1000 on the competing Chevy Uplander with no gas card). If gasoline stays around $3.50 a gallon, that's $300 a year saved. If it goes to $4.00, that's $600 a year saved. If Goldman Sachs is right and we're paying $5.60 a gallon, that's a savings over 3 years of $4680!!!
