CarSpace 2004 Mazda MPVuhhh, hello everybody. Sorry, I have neglected "My Carspace" for so long. I know many of my fans out there want to know a little bit more about my Mazda MPV. Well, gotta go. See you soon. ;-) Feb 16, 2010 - Almost 6 years......of ownership. We've been very pleased with our MPV thus far. Five trips to Florida, many 1 hour trips to MIL house.Hoping to get another 4 years without any major problems (knock on wood).
Aug 29, 2008 - Bad CoilsI had to have a coil replaced at the dealership a few weeks ago. The van was running rough and I thought the culprit was a bad PCV hose. I took the van to autozone and they scanned for codes, turning up a misfire in cylinder 6. After reading many posts reguarding premature failure of these coils on the MPV Club website, I asked if the dealership would call Mazda and ask for some goodwill. The van was only one month out of warranty and I have had all sevice done at Mazda, so they did the $230 repair for free.
Aug 6, 2008 - I remember...I remember the day we first brought our MPV home, back in two thousand and four. Only 13 lucky miles on the odometer. The MPV is my wifes primary driver, but I take care of all of her needs. I wash her, change her (oil), and put her to bed (garage). She has rewarded our pampering with 4 years of quality service and reliability. She'll be ready to fly the nest in about 4 years. I'm sure I'll shed a few tears. They grow up on you so fast folks... cherish every day, will ya?
