Child Safety Seats (part 2)

Now that you've read your car owner's manual, talked to some people, and read up on the child safety seats out there, it's time to select one. There are few points that I think are helpful to remember before heading out to the store.   First, car seats come in many different shapes, sizes, colors, and price ranges. Which is a good thing because people are different, their children are different, and their cars are different.  It may seem overwhelming at first when you enter the car seat aisle and you see so many seats.  However, there are only a handful of manufacturers and each of them has only a few real different models which means if you took off all of the covers, harnesses, accessories, etc., the plastic shell of the seats underneath are identical.  They only usually vary by how much foam is there, cupholders, colors, and so on...
