Wiper blades are sold at any auto parts store. You can find out exactly which blades you need for your vehicle, by looking up your model in the handy guides that these stores have. If you can't figure out which blades you need, ask a salesperson for assistance.
Step 2: Choose the proper blade attachment for your vehicle.
Now that you have purchased the proper blades for your car or truck, you need to pick from the various attachment pieces that most blades come with to select the one that will work on your vehicle. You can usually figure out which one you need by looking at your vehicle's current blade attachment. It is located on your vehicle where the blade meets the wiper arm.
Step 3: Pull your vehicle's wiper arms away from the windshield.
Step 4: Remove the old blade.
Different vehicles use different attachment mechanisms for wiper blades. Most wiper blades have a small tab that can be pressed down with a flat head screwdriver. Push this tab down and you will be able to remove the blade from the arm. Other blades use a two tab system. On these just press the tabs down and pull the old blade off. Some blades just pop right off when pulled.
Step 5: Take off the old wiper blade attachment.
After you have taken your old wiper blade off, remove the attachment piece as well.
Step 6: Put the new wiper blade attachment on.
Step 7: Install the new wiper blade on the new attachment.
Step 8: Repeat the process for the other blade.
Step 8: Take the wipers for a test drive, er hu test wipe ;)
Once you have finished the installation, test out your vehicle's new wiper blades to make sure that they work properly. Nothing would be worse than to have it start raining one day and realize that your wipers aren't working right.
