How to Sound Deaden Your VehicleIf you have an upgraded sound system in your vehicle you will want to sound deaded the interior to prevent road noise and vibration.

Scapel or Knife
Spray Glue
Hair Dryer
Roller
Acetone
Rags
Sound Deading Material
Step 1: Warm the sound deading materials in the sun to become more pliable.
Step 2: Remove seats, dashboard, door panels and carpet from interior and from trunk.
Step 3: Use the Acetone to clean all metal surfaces.
Step 4: Spray the glue to the metal surfaces.
Step 5: Peel the adhesive backing from the sound deading material and place material onto glue coated metal.
Step 6: Smooth material with roller to be sure of suffient contact in all areas.
Step 7: Be sure to fill any gaps or ridges.
Step 8: Trim any excess material.
Step 9: Replace dashboard, seats, door panels and carpet.
