Using a thin bladed, flat tip screwdriver, slip it between the dash and the grille covering the center channel speaker.  With light effort, pry the grille up until you're able to slip a finger under it, then use your hands to remove it the rest of the way.

Once the grille is removed, you'll be looking at a 4" speaker carrying a 2 ohm impedance.

The only aftermarket speakers I've found with a 2 ohm impedance are the Infinity Kappa Series (model 42.9I), JBL GTO Series (GTO427) & JBL Power Series (P462)...they are all made by the same folks to be honest.  The GTO427 is the most affordable of the 3.  The biggest difference between the Infinity Kappa Series and the JBL Power Series is that the Infinity Kappas have a tweeter you can rotate to increase/decrease the tweeter output by +/- 3 dB (or leave it flat for a total of 3 settings).  The JBL Power Series does not have this feature.

Okay, flip the factory speaker upside down (magnet up) and make a note of which wire (in the harness) is connected to which terminal of the speaker.  You'll be removing the harness from the spaeaker, cutting it off and then stripping the wires.  At this point, you may want to add some wire to make installing the aftermarket speaker much easier.  Get some butt connectors and add a piece that's 8-12" long.  Bare the ends that are left and connect them to the new speaker.  Some folks slip the wire through the hole of the terminal, wrap the excess and then put electrical tape on it.  Some will find some speaker terminal connectors and crimp those on the wires and connect it that way and some will prefer to solder the connections.  Whichever you choose, make sure it's secure and then you're ready to drop the new speaker into place.

Push the wire down into the hole and make sure it's not in the way of the back of the speaker, and hopefully...you remembered where you put those two screws when you took the OEM speaker out.  Your'e ready to secure the speaker and replace the grille.  Once done, turn your system on and check out the improved sound!!!
