I grew up in the Canadian fishing village of Lobster Ball, Nova Scotia, where I developed an intense love for outboard motor fishing boats. I was a pretty good writer, so I figured I'd combine my two loves into a career in outboard motor fishing boat journalism. After graduating from college, I quickly discovered that Mercury Outboard Monthly and Evinrude & Driver were struggling. So I sold out and wrote about cars instead. I'll be forever shamed. Sorry Dad.
Actually, that's mostly not true. I am Canadian, though, and you can replace the boat stuff with cars. In the beginning, my goal was to write for one of the big car magazines, but being a part of Edmunds' cutting-edge online coverage is infinitely more exciting. I graduated from Pepperdine University as a journalism major and a certified newspaper junky, and from there tried to write automotive reviews and features for whomever would publish my stuff. I look forward to these next few potentially tumultuous years in the car industry, as alternative fuels and Internet technology continue to dramatically change what we drive and the way we read/write about them.

The changes made for the coming model year are mostly restricted to the SES coupe model, or the same trim that's on our long-term car. These changes include dark chrome trim, restyled lower airdam, bigger wheels in dark chrome, a rear spoiler migration from the deck lid to the roof and standard ambient lighting...
