Here's a video I made in college at CU Boulder. It shows me riding my Ducati Paso from my apartment to the main administration building. I take a not-so-prudent short cut! The most interesting part of this video? It was shot and edited at the same time. No ediitng machine -- all camera-based edit

I drafted my roommate. He had minimal camera experience, but I would set up every shot, then run over, ride the bike, and then come back and review it. If the shot was good I'd pause the camera at the end of it, put it in Record-Pause mode, tell him what to shoot for the next shot, and then go ride the bike again. When I watch the tape now (16 years later) I realize he did an excellent job -- all things considered.
