carlover124 "Some one could STEAL it..." Not STEEL. Only pointed out cause you give the nice lady greif over the Sawza(which it really isn't).

what is this world coming to?
autoboy16 - Dec 21, 2006 6:30 pm
GOOD JOB!! Quick question: Couldn't someone just take the axe and break the window and just take everything but the toilet while you sleep?
odie6l - Dec 13, 2006 12:14 pm
Great review Karen. It covered everything but the Kitchen Sink (but at least you have the toilet).

Unless it comes with 24-hour room service, it's not for me!

Karen, Love the Video, but the SUV ???????? Lets just say it's not my cup of tea. :) Rocky

Nice review karen. I could see it was a bit difficult to walk around and keep the camera trained on the Basecamp. I think the axe and sawall could have been presented by Suzuki as the latest in anti-theft technology. I sure wouldn't mess with anybody who kept a hand ax embedded in the side of their vehicle.

If you have to camp, this looks like it would be more comfortable than a tent and sleeping bags on the ground.
karens - Dec 11, 2006 8:28 am
Thanks to all for the comments! Regarding the "saw all", my husband, who enjoys primitive camping ("Flush toilets! We don't need no steenkin' flush toilets.) informed me that it is a "tree saw". Sheesh, if I had known that it would have saved me a world of embarassment.

It definitely looks like it would be a fun toy to have. Although the axe on the side seems like it's a recipe for disaster.

Encore! Encore! You did a great job. As you stated, not too practical. Espeacially the saw thingy. But real nice. Good luck!

Thanks for expanding my automotive universe. I never knew this thing existed! And that ax would be GREAT for defending your campsite. Good job!

This video just knocked me out. It should be made into a full blown commercial. What a perfect ride. I want one! Today! Reedo

Great review and cool car! Those who plan to take the Basecamp to Crystal Lakeshould probably ask to have that axe mounted INSIDE the vehicle.
randydriver - Dec 8, 2006 4:24 pm
very good review....most interesting model....uh but hum....what is with the axe on the side where there was a window. You did a very good job of shoooting the footage.
maltb - Dec 8, 2006 1:34 pm
Well you ended your video in the crapper but nice recording!
mx5fun - Dec 8, 2006 12:28 pm
Karen - enjoyed your comments on the Suzuki Basecamp - hope that you practice on saying "sawsall" - it will come to you after a short while... Good Driving, Daniel

A bit of wind drag on that tent!
steve_ - Dec 8, 2006 10:54 am
Nice job Karen - something tells me the ax and sawsall won't make it to production.
karens - Dec 8, 2006 10:41 am
No making fun of me not being able to say sawza..sawssa...saw all!!! Or whatever it's called.
pf_flyer - Dec 8, 2006 10:31 am
With the temperature near zero with the wind chill right now, I appreciate being taken to a warm place!!
pf_flyer - Dec 8, 2006 10:13 am
Thanks for taking me to a warm climate :) Even if it's just for a few minutes!
