About Me: I loved looking for new cars on the streets around town as a teenager especially while cruising Speedway or Johnnie's with my high school boyfriend. I still remember the first time we saw a brand new Avanti! Somehow after college, fate lead me to positions at Toyota and BMW. From '79 to '92, I drove new Toyota and BMW models as company cars. I've owned the cars listed below and still have the '65 Mustang. I no longer work but still love the car biz!

Help The Greyhounds!: May 8, 2008 | Categories: greyhounds, dog races; This posting is a copy of a letter I received regarding the treatment of greyhounds at Tucson Greyhound Park-- There is no shortage of frustration over the greyhound track’s mistreatment of the gentle dogs many of us have come to know so well. For years now rescue groups have asked for the most modest improvements on their part and have seen nothing. Although the director of the Racing Department seems to be a caring person, the Racing Commission has had no interest in helping greyhounds. The Arizona Legislature has no interest either, instead giving them tax breaks other businesses don‘t enjoy.
